The CD42-STS Subsea Pig Tracking System

Transmitter signal strength is indicated on LED display.
The CD42-STS allows for the tracking of moving pigs and locating stationary or stuck pigs through the use of CDI's standard line of electromagnetic (EM) transmitters and does not use RADIOACTIVE ISOTOPES. The CD42-STS tracking system can be deployed to a depth of up to to 8,0000 ft.
Designed to be either carried by a diver or ROV, the CD42-STS is a reliable, field-proven system.
The CD42-STS utilizes CDI's popular and field-proven portable receiver design to locate and track any type of pigs: foam, uni-cast or metal-bodied, or ILI tools.
A series of bright LED's give the operator a clear indication of transmitters strength whether the transmitter is passing the receiver or an ROV is searching for a stationary or stuck pig.
A single non-penetrating pushbutton in the center of the faceplate allows control over the unit's gain.
